I get there is an (arguably unfair) stigma against HIV+ people in society, but sticking up for monsters like Aziga who deliberately and intentionally spread HIV to others is definitely not the way to go.

People with HIV already have the burden of dealing with fellows who think their privilege to be covert about their status trumps the right of their partners to make informed decisions about potential risks to their health. Having a Typhoid Mary equivalent is the last thing that they want to play apologist for.

Ultimately, it'd be easier if they just said the quiet part out loud and said "the only important thing in society is who or what you like to have sex with and it's all meat slapping against meat to make people feel good. The only people who should be second class citizens are those who can't get sex."

Idk, based on that logic, there's a stigma against everyone who has a transmittable disease then. It's not a stigma, but a precaution. Jesus, we just made everyone stay in their homes and or wear masks for COVID and people who refused or even spoke about their doubts lost their jobs and their social status because of it. But I guess AIDS is okay, but only if you're non-heterosexual?

That's somewhat true but HIV has a particular stigma since the AIDS crisis in the 80s when no one knew what it was or how it was being spread. People who don't remember the 80s might see it differently.

I do because I'm old, lol. I did see that, but it was based on good data - the gay community (gay men - I think lesbians had one of the lowest infection rates of all), got hit hardest and fastest because it was (and probably still is) very promiscuous as a culture. Still, I agree that you have to protect yourself, but you, simply as a human being, have an obligation to disclose something like that. Even to a casual partner and before you actually have sex. This militant push back is insane to me. What kind of asshole keeps something like that hidden. I would never want to be the cause of someone getting a deadly disease, even if treatment has advanced.

These are different but related things. Yes HIV is more stigmatized but also those people loop that into their oppression Olympics where BECAUSE it's more stigmatized, the people with HIV become morally superior. I've been arguing with these idiots for decades now since like 2000. I had a health clinic worker say "criminalizing or forcing people to disclose they have HIV before sex means they won't come into the clinic for the free HIV test because then they can't KNOWINGLY infect other people." It's 100percent reverse engineering a justification that the person never had to forgive them for knowingly infecting people or knowingly avoiding the test itself because they know they were exposed.

My god, it's the most backassward logic ever (not you, but the current state). By that logic, the sex offender list is criminal because it might hurt the perverts' feelings (and I know there's a concerted effort to de-stigmatize MAPS right now and it makes me sick). Seriously, if you aren't grown up to accept responsibility for your HIV status and informing others (who are good enough to fuck, I guess, but not good enough to inform them of the risks of fucking you), you shouldn't be having any sex.

What does serophobic mean? I'm not up to date on all the current phobia suffixed words sjws use to feel important.

Sero = blood.

It's not a phobia, because phobias are irrational. Being afraid of blood that contains an incurable deadly disease that emaciates you and then gives you cancer and deforms you and finally kills you IS A RATIONAL FEAR

[–]PsychoTranyRedditMod 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

That makes sense.

Do you think all phobias are irrational? Arachniphobia ia fear of spiders, but there is rationality to that fear as some are poisonous. Of course that doesn't count the scientific terms like hydrophobic.

Phobia would be fear that is in someway irrational.

Maybe for that it's fear to an irrational DEGREE.

Don't they realize spreading AIDS is a tradition in African culture? We should be inclusive of all cultures. Do better, Canada.

I heard it's the opposite. Here it's fine to get the entire local truck drivers guild up your ass, in africa they kill you for committing sodomy.

They keep saying the prosecutor is calling all black people sex maniacs but I don't see anything suggesting that. It's them projecting that idea onto the situation because the guy happens to be black.

I agree with him, his sentence was unfair.

I think the death penalty is the appropriate sentence

Let's see now... African who intentionally spread HIV specifically to white women gets jailed. Good let him rot in there.

As for the women, well, I guess there is a toll to be paid for digging around in the gutter for something to put up your chuff. Any woman worthy of a white man will not have this sort of worry.

Now let's not be racist. Black men are not worth less than white men, and it's fine if a white lady is into black men, it doesn't make her a ho.

It's just this particular black man who deserves to be electrocuted. And that's because of his character, not his genes.

Is this meant to be some sort of baiting attempt?
