I'm not racist because I'm white, I'm racist because of DEI and retards like this. I never really spent a lot of time thinking about race until everyone went stupid and mad everything about race. All this shit pushed me rightwards because, when you're told constantly that you're evil, you're a colonizer, you have privilege, you either cut your balls off, take a knee and apologize to everyone for sins you didn't commit, or you fucking fight back.

I'm a bit racist because I like walking the streets at night and I also like breathing.

Generalisation is a survival technique.

It's funny how being wary of someone because of pattern recognition is racist when applied to a group like black people or Muslims, but absolutely vital when it comes to men or the police. I've never managed to get a coherent explanation about why one is bad and the other is good, beyond the equivalent of "fuck you, that's why."

Probably for the same reason that parents teach their kids to be wary of strangers, when 90% of sexual abuse, rape and serious violence committed against children is done by their own family members.

"Be wary of strangers" makes sense if you're in a densely populated high traffic enviourment where new people keep showing up.

It really doesn't. If you live in a city, you live in a densely populated high traffic environment where new people keep showing up, and if you leave your basement and go out in public you're going to meet anything from dozens to hundreds of strangers every single day. I stepped out today for a little less than an hour and had close contact with about forty strangers. When I used to work in the CBD, I'd have close contact with about 500 strangers a day. And none of them were a danger to me.

We have evolved a fear of strangers because our instincts evolved during the stone age, a time when you would almost never meet any strangers at all, but if you did, they were probably going to compete violently with you and your family for resources (food and shelter).

There have been only four times I've felt genuinely threatened, twice were members of my family, once was a work mate, and once was a pair of drunks in a strip club who tried to pick a fight for no reason at all. If I wasn't hanging around strip clubs at 4am I never would have met that last pair of guys, but then little kiddies are rarely doing that.

You take what I said in wrong context.

When people say "Be way of strangers" they mean "Dont get too chummy with someone you barely know".

I'm more of a cultural supremacist I suppose. I don't really believe that one's "race" as in their individual ancestry gives you much of any useful information on what kind of person an individual is and I see no real reason to bar people outright from anything based solely on their parentage.

Cultures though? Yeah I believe some cultures are superior to others. I don't think there is any one true master culture or anything like that. But hell yeah I think a civilized society that respects rule of law and freedom of speech and expression is superior to a culture that likes to toss people off of buildings if they insult god in some way.

Japan has it's own set of issues. But taking a nap laying on the grass in the park on a summer evening, and waking up with your wallet, phone, organs in their place, and asshole intact? Amazing.

But remember. JAPAN MUST HAVE MORE DIVERSITY. 😤

Japan just needs to be smarter about who it brings in and how they integrate people into Japanese society. Japanese society is in some ways extremely tolerant even more so than most western countries but it's tolerance rather than acceptance. The main issues I see is that Japan is going to be pretty crap at integrating the older children of immigrants there since Japanese is not an easy language to teach and the Japanese school system isn't really equipped to deal with immigrant children.

True, but do you really care what race that creepy person in the hoodie following you is?

I'm not racist because I'm white, I'm racist because of DEI and retards like this.

Couldn't you, like, oppose racist bullshit like DEI without becoming racist yourself?

Do you really think that there are only two sorts of people in the world, DEI racists and old-school skin colour racists, and no room in the middle for people who despise both?

That's the consequence of social media lending more weight to the "loudest" voices which invariably end up being the stupidest lowest common denominator sort of takes.

In my experience it tends to be that the people whom are making the most noise about anti-racism and whatnot are often the most racist. But that's because they are treating people differently based solely on their race. Whereas the people who treat everyone the same regardless are oftentimes painted as racists because they'll invariably fail to account for someone's racial identity in their dealings and cause offense when some opportunist sees an angle they can exploit.

The classic example of this would be the various scholastic attitudes of "not expecting black students to be able to live up to the same standards as white students" there's a sliver of sane thinking behind the idea once we divorce it from race and focus more on the individual situations that are common amongst the black students, namely no stable home life, but you aren't allowed to make such generalizations without being painted a racist so the ideas instead get pushed through uncritically as racialist policies themselves. Naturally if you're a student and you realize you can claim racism to get out of assignments you'll probably do that.

The racism of low expectations.

With great expectations comes great literature.

Well, there's the third, most healthy answer of the middle path- simply saying "fine, great, you win, I'm evil. And your point? Now let's move on, shall we?" and cease to give a shit.

But I'm not evil. And saying I'm evil just because I'm whatever race/gender/orientation/etc. is just the milquetoast version of racism.

Those three fast food eating fat white pieces of shit should get in a room together and eat Taco Smell meat with a spoon while I flood it.
