Anytime anyone says to “educate yourself” I know for certain that whatever they’re pushing is bullshit. If you can’t persuade me with a succinct and cogent argument and instead send me off to do homework you can just fuck off.

I’ve encountered this over and over again, it started with feminists and continued with every other flavour of critical social justice fad. At least evangelical Christians will hold a conversation and actually put some effort into their proselytising, this lazy shit that troons etc do is fucking infuriating.

They’re usually really nice to talk to and I don’t think I’ve ever walked away from a conversation with one feeling frustrated or upset. I even like talking to the JWs when they knock on the door.
