Wouldn't surprise me, the grift is lucrative if you can hit just the right angle. And it even comes with the bonus of being able to point to the police and the prosecutor's office and wail piteously about how they just let the guilty party go free, and how there's no justice and blah, blah, blah. The sort of people who lap this up wouldn't care in the least if she was revealed to have been fucking over the case in some way.

Honestly, this seems a little bit unreasonable.

Much more likely the BLM activist thing was put in to angry up the blood and this is some good old fashioned "no snitching".

Maybe so, maybe no. I doubt us popcorn munchers in the audience will ever know one way or another what the truth of the matter is. But if it is a case of not being a snitch, then I hope they're just as willing to sit quietly and suffer instead of calling for the cops to come and help if they get in a situation.

I’m going to guess that the GF shared her now dead BF’s worldview. Is it possible that she’s really too traumatized to pick the killer out of a lineup? Sure. Do I care that people believe she’s intentionally hampering the investigation and profiting off his death? Nope. People like that never give anyone else the benefit of the doubt, so why should they be given it?

If the BF had his way, we’d have ever corner of the country infested with people like his killer.

His friends will downplay his killing because it doesn’t fit their narrative. The people he was an “activist” for don’t know or care that he’s dead. He did what he did not to help others but to stroke his own ego.

His death was pointless, his life was meaningless, and he leaves behind no legacy.
