This isn’t really new information - troons be cray cray.

It’s the brittleness of their delusional belief, the delusional belief that they themselves don’t actually believe, hence all the ferocious overreaction to even milquetoast disagreements and the refusal to engage in debate or negotiation.

The gay rights movement was most productive when they calmly explained and debated the people that disagreed with them and over time they won most of those people over - at least to the point of leaving them alone.

The troons can’t do that because not only are their claims clearly insane, they are demanding that others participate in their delusion by treating them contrary to reality.

The real kicker about it is I don't think many people would give a shit how anyone identifies, trans or whatever. But it's when you start saying stuff like this that you force people to have an opinion on the matter. I have no problem being able to respect their chosen identity, it's honestly whatever to me, but you can't change the facts of reality. If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

They want the attention - if no one said anything about them, they would claim that they’re being erased or some shit. They’re not the only group to pull this, the whole switcheroo of “antiracism”, where colourblindness went from being the correct attitude to being the worst form of racism, is another example. It’s hard to milk those victim points when hardly anyone is doing anything to you, and society is already punishing those people that continue to be arseholes - but along comes the race grifters to turn the whole game on its head.

Don't forget the other side of it: The thing that changed most people's minds about gay rights (and basically equality for every group fighting for it) was ultimately just gay people being good people and living their lives, and making people on a individual level say "I love you, and any group that you're a part of can't possibly be bad."

By contrast, the modern viewpoint is "we are complete and utter pieces of shit, we celebrate being pieces of shit. If you can't do something for us, then we view you as subhuman and would say that to your face. All you are to us is a wallet or a dildo, and you need to be ecstatic we LET you be a wallet or a dildo for us." Regardless of the group they're in, they're just rotten human beings to the core, and they're turning people away from equality because ultimately, the person just doesn't want someone who they despise to be happy.

Good point, well made.

and the older gays knew damn well that if there's a stereotype of being groomers and carriers of VD you don't sprint through an 8th-grade locker room and dive headfirst into a vat of used needles; now whenever someone sticks their dick into their mom, fucks a taxidermy fox, or is caught digging for used tampons and diapers a swarm of 17yos spams every "misgendering" comment with a Gentle Reminder to associate these acts with trans women

the only thing worse for The Cause would be to go door-to-door with graphic photos of the crimes and telling their neighbors "be sure and remember that a trans woman did this; can you promise me to spend at least 1 hour a week practicing the proper pronouns of the prison rapist, maybe go with some friends to a cafe and--" (yes, the cafe thing was cited as more Basic Decency here on TiA)

something people don't really remember is how the radfems' second-to-last-act was to kick unfabulous gays out of the Tumblr circle--they were just another MAN (and a whole 70-80% of them are huWITE!), so they're double patriarchal! that's what set off the battle royale for who could be the most Oppressed* [* sharing a category with people mistreated in the 1850s while being an upper-middle-class college student pursuing a degree good for nothing but a new DEI administrative role they have to make up]

they remind me of ultranationalists--get a 50 Cent Brigader, hotep, Christian Zionist, Turanist together in a room and they'll be gouging each other's eyes out despite sharing the exact same premises

With the problem with The Cause, it makes more sense for these people doing that shit when you remember the facts:

Trans rights are one of the single most successful acts of equality in human history. Seriously, the group was virtually unknown 20 years ago, and it's not just how many rights trans people have gotten, but they got this amount of equality in about a decade. THAT IS AN UNBRIDLED SUCCESS AS FAR AS SOCIAL JUSTICE GOES, and people should be lauded for how far, and how quickly, trans people have gotten to this level of equality.

And that makes these specific snarts SICK.

Always remember; these people are, at their core, kids raised by Harry Potter and the Hunger Games. They openly ADMIT this. And because of that, they want to be oppressed JUST...SO...BADLY, because if they're oppressed they get to be Harry Potter punching Nazis all the time, and especially punching those people in the middle who are Thanos killing half the babies. They already want attention as it is, but being oppressed gets to make them the super-special hero who fought to give their group social equality and acceptance...and they just can't do that when they found people are perfectly happy to give them social equality without a fight.

So, it becomes necessary for them to deliberately try to make themselves look bad, so that they create people to hate them, giving them Nazis to punch and letting them be oppressed so they can feel like they're fighting for something.

that's why they dilated the definition of "trans" to "you don't have to have dysphoria or surgery or clothes or makeup or shave or" and changed "queer" to "a man and a woman who have sex but feel kinda funny" so they could play the "someone like you was mean to someone like me once" game

it's what they have in common with the "TERFs" (actual, not "disagreed with me online") and why they hate them so much--they're their dark reflection, the primal origin, and they used to be the ones in charge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxAEBMfy7Pw and they still believe their basic concept that maleness in and of itself is Bad CAN'T SAY "B*D" NOW, IT MIGHT HAVE ANTI-NONBINARY ORIGINS

True, but this part is less actual people in the group, and more "people who are faking it for attention and popularity, KNOW they're faking it for attention and popularity, will be the first to TELL YOU they're faking it for attention and popularity, GLOAT that they're faking it for attention and popularity and they'll get away with it because the rules set up by the people who care about equality means that everyone- both actual LGBTQ people and the people calling them on faking it, have no choice but to let them win and get their way."

It's why the attention whores got the definition dilated (they don't care about the issue, they just know "being LGBTQ makes you cool and interesting and inherently good and deserve whatever you want, being straight makes you boring and normal and yucky and literally, inherently evil", so they changed the definition so they get to be in the group too"), and on the opposite side why it's being used by the unpopular to get their way (witness how incels use "transmaxxing" as a tool for this.)

Then: Rock Hudson was gay.

Now: Trans musician strips on live TV to play the piano with her penis.

Unfortunately this could be a mad libs for everything trans today. People complain about some outrageous activities a random TRA is doing and the response is always "why do you hate trans people?"

No they are mad a man wearing flesh tone underwear is in a miniskirt in front of 5 yr olds.

A lot of this is a distraction though. Yeah it's tasteless and abhorrent to turn on the TV to see some bizarre penile piano performance, but it begs the question, why are you watching that crap to begin with?

Some wildly inappropriate performance is not suitable for broadcast television, but this shit thrives on attention and we are giving a lot of it. If this guy performed to an audience of zero would he still do it? If we spend our time outraged about some retarded television performer does that distract us from actually getting the political ball rolling to ban this sort of stuff from the schools or to prevent doctors from performing surgeries or prescribing hormones to minors?

We need to be deliberate in how we choose to expend our energy. We can't waste time getting outraged by every rediculous thing they do. We gotta go straight for the heart.

What's on TV is a bit different from things they do in person.

But in regards to your point, I've hated "reality TV" since almost the beginning. Like when "The Real World" (season 1) came out on MTV i did think it was pretty interesting as a unique concept. I realized pretty quickly that "Road Rules" was far more interesting because the people actually had tasks to overcome instead of just sitting around being dramatic.

The infinite spin offs were just more and more shit and I found "RuPaul's" to be just as bad as everything else. It felt like friends and family were all in on the useless drama though and I just found it incredibly annoying that they would turn on the TV to watch this stuff as a choice. RuPaul's in particular brothered me because it feels like the media force diverted the zeitgeist of the gay community to be a full on caricature of what unfriendly straights used to pretend we were.
