I happen to agree with Mencius Moldbug's idea of the Cathedral.. In other words, yes, we have a problem here. The left has created a culture of superficial charity that masks power-grabs by the elites. I really don't even watch the history channel. I do read quite a bit. I've just never been particularly interested in Nazi Germany from Germany's perspective. Do you read a lot about Finland from their perspective? I can't emphasis this enough, I'm not from Germany. the logical progression will be no one is perfect and will eugenithize everyone. If one believes in evolution then you would want races to mix, if ony white people mate you have less genetic diversity and it's large scale incest. To some extent, it depends on his reasons. He's stated the defensive war thesis. I've never gotten around to researching the time period enough to evaluate it. I've heard there is a great book called Human Smoke, written by a pacifist (so not a Nazi) on the issue. My library only has it as audio book, so I skipped it.

I don't exactly see how the invasion of France was defensive, but I'll listen to someone.

This was the "Cabinet Crisis" of 1940.

A peace offer was what Rudolf Hess parachuted into Britain with. It's why he was kept incommunicado his whole life, long after ex-Nazis had been rehabilitated and released into West Germany to assist the postwar rebuilding (they were short on elites and badly needed them). This was the cause for much agitation by Communists in the 60s and 70s, and resulted in the famous poll where something like a third of West Germans said they would give shelter to a blood-soaked terrorist fleeing the police.
