I really don't even watch the history channel. I do read quite a bit. I've just never been particularly interested in Nazi Germany from Germany's perspective. Do you read a lot about Finland from their perspective? I can't emphasis this enough, I'm not from Germany. If I'm interested in non-democratic, highly efficient models of government there are other examples. Why would I privilege leaning about this foreign country over any other? It's still foreign.
