So that is how I can finally get rid off LinkedIn.

I would never sign up for Linkedin. In theory it is a good idea, connecting with businesses and people for employment. In practice its Microsoft spying on people who are complete bastards.

But all unis here recommend to use it, is there other alternatives out there?

I thought LinkedIn was for work related stuff. Why would you use it for a discussion on vaccines?

Also, do you not have a copy of your resume and professional accomplishments? When you store something on someone else's computer they will always hold all the power. I don't get why people are so willing to put everything on a platform or cloud storage?!?

Make your own website with your own domain and post your professional information there. It will stand out more then a LinkedIn profile... LinkedIn is like a C level platform at best. I think of all the applications I've viewed and all the business contacts I've had in 20 years of running a business and I've never need to view a LinkedIn profile...

(In all fairness I own a small business and LinkedIn might be more valuable in a corporate setting. TBO I'm not really sure what people get from LinkedIn)

I can easily be found on any major web search with "glass expert" and Google has my LinkedIn profile top of first page. Over this past 1 year LI has multiple times removed/blocked a posting I put up and what I posted = truth and fact and both inconvenient. Not popular. I just did such a posting this very morning. I suppose I must be prepared for the day that LinkedIn bans me for life as well.

Good! LinkedIn does not want to promote misinformation that could very well lead to the deaths of people who fell for the outright lies.

Myspace banned me like 20 years ago, want a prize? My god are you a grown adult trying to get sympathy from other adults bc you think you where wronged? So let me guess, you deserve money? LMAO

Sorry, I giv around 20k a year to kids directly, but you are pathetic like, a company like walmart asking ofr donations pathetic.

Because I made 3 truthful, accurate statements

And yet he doesn't say what those "accurate statements" are, so I'm going to dismiss him as a grandstanding attention whore.

Yes, those platforms are awful, but come on, they do have a TOS, and it's really suspicious he doesn't want anyone to know what got him banned. Was he saying <insert generic insult about Democrats> or was he harassing other users and/or posting kiddie porn and/or abusing the platform? There's a big difference, and he knows that, which is why he conveniently omitted that information.

I use LinkedIn to post my resume, message employers, "link" with fellow employees, and nothing else. Take everything LinkedIn offers. Give nothing in return. Mislead them when appropriate.

Anyone posting political diatribes there, from any political perspective, or anything non-work related is an idiot.

The post makes it clear that he was banned for committing heresy against the Branch Covidian religion.

Post on 9/26/2021: Inconvenient truth: >150,000 excess deaths in VAERS. Jeffrey Morris REFUSES to debate my team in a video RECORDED call. He writes papers but is AFRAID to have them publicly challenged.

Post on 9/22/2021: I just sent this to Eric Topol: Eric, I'm a big vaccine skeptic. I think the vaccines have killed over xxx people. Would you like to debate? You can do the world a HUGE service by showing people how ridiculous my assertions are. You can bring down all my 20 experts at the same time in a 1 hour debate. You'd end vaccine hesitancy. [had to xxx to escape censorship from LinkedIn ]

Post on 9/20/2021: Nicki Minaj was telling the truth. All the authorities were wrong. The facts are all with Nicki. The authorities cited no evidence to support their position. But they are the authorities so we should believe them NO MATTER WHAT the science actually says, right? The authorities NEVER make mistakes. https://lnkd.in/gqYieZyX

'no possibility to download my profile before deleting it.' Does this guy think linkedin is fucking google sheets or something? Just from reading his article before even reading his comments I was not surprised he was banned at all.

LinkedIn is like a centralised HR department for the entire (maybe not China) world. Which is unfortunate.
