I just posted two links about police misconduct and a woman that was denied an organ transplant for being unvaccinated, but Saidit won't vote those to the top like my semen post, its literally the #1 post right now, so I'm not sure Saidit agrees

That seamen post is of course important news to Saidit (though the research is 20 years old), so we are much obliged. But it doesn't mention semen in gay men. I mean: perhaps that's the origin of the use of the name, gay? Just thinking out loud....

I think you have already provided the answer right there and perhaps didn't realize it during your out loud thinking. The article predates the woke drive towards inclusive language, it is implicitly assumed that heterosexuality is necessarily the biological norm, and that males retaining the semen of others in not worth studying without a plausible evolutionary reason for why nature would select for this in males

Indeed - though arguably the 2SLGBTQIA+ folks are happily removing themselves from the breeder gene pool, so technically Idiocracy will have a paucity of 2SLGBTQIA+ genes (if we are to believe the 2SLGBTQIA+ community that their conditions are innate). (Edit: as it may not seem to be obvious, now as I read responses to this and my previous comment, I should note - I was obviously joking with HKP.)

Just my personal opinion, but I think we may be looking at a couple of different phenomenon.

The 'L' and 'G' may have some biological basis, we see it in animals at similar rates to what we see in humans. Lesbians seem to have really masculine physical traits at much higher rates than one would expect given zero correlation between biology and sexuality.

The gender ideology stuff is clearly psycho-social in origin and not biological (gender is determined by the presence or lack of the male Y chromosome in mammals), although perhaps some inherent level of higher suggestibility is required to be susceptible to this stuff, because not everyone is

I've wondered if some gays claim trans because it gets more attn than gay/lesbian or if it's some mental exercise.

Example: This girl that I knew was super cute. She had a slightly deeper voice but still feminine. She loved her husband and was sort of naive about the world in general and was in a region that was more religious than others.

She went trans. Like, total wtf. How did sweet little naive girl end up on hrt, change her name and move to a super liberal, degenerate city? Was she secretly into chicks and just trans was more supported? Was being gay more of a sin to her than just "being born in the wrong body"?

Still bugs me on how that could've happened and doesn't make a lot of sense.

Nah, straight people go trans at a higher rate than gays or dykes. I guess it's possible that she was secretly into chicks but not likely

2SLGB...

I'm suspecting you're Canadian?

[–]dicknipples 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I found it online. Just trying to stay up to date. I haven't a clue what a Two-Spirit person from Turtle Island is. (Not Canadian.)

Haha - It seems to be something that mostly just we Canadians use. 2 spirit basically just means trans for indigenous people. Since we've got a history of treating our indigenous people the way the US treats its black people, it's lately been put at the head of the LGB stack as an honorific.
