A lot of kids get a distorted idea of what the range of normal bodies looks like. This can lead to unnecessary shame and distress if they feel that they are abnormal, or shock when they first encounter a normal body that it outside what they've been exposed to.

Your over-puritanical approach to sex education is damaging.

You should try to get over your childhood trauma, and don't perpetrate the cycle.

I gave you a scholarly article discussing the one field where factual information would have real benefits. This is counter-argument on the pyramid of debate.

You have responded with ad-hominem. This is dragging the conversation down on the pyramid of debate, which is against saidit values.

I have reported your comment and encourage you to do better in the future.

I’m not sure where these people are going with this.

“We should expose all minors to sex and nudity”.

        Why is this good.

Because they talk about inclusion and diversity?

Being aware of what different bodies look like isn't a poison. You seem to be confusing it with being sexually molested by your pastor.

        Real benefits?

        That's what I said. Yes.

We have a generation of kids growing up that can't tell if they're boys or girls and are becoming increasingly suicidal.

Interesting claim, but it is just contradiction. To construct and argument, you need to provide your source of information.

Do we in fact have a generation of kids growing up that can't tell if they're boys or girls? That seems unlikely to me. What's the evidence of this claim, or did you just make it up?

        and are becoming increasingly suicidal.

Again, plausible, given how climate change and geopolitics is going, but as you have stated it, it is just a claim. To keep up on the pyramid of debate you need to supply supporting evidence or citations.

And just a reminder, they're not your kids.

        Are they yours?

They don't belong to you, the school, the teachers, or the state. Just stay away from them.

Should you stay away from them for the same reasoning?

Please try to follow the conversation. The questions you avoided:

Do we in fact have a generation of kids growing up that can't tell if they're boys or girls? That seems unlikely to me. What's the evidence of this claim, or did you just make it up?

What is your supporting evidence or citations for "A generation of kids ... are becoming increasingly suicidal."

Also, you make a point that they're not my kids. I didn't understand the point you are trying to make, so i asked if they were your kids. I know they're not, but can you explain what point you think you were trying to get to work that comment?

It's inexcusable that schools are essentially graduating barely functioning illiterates.

You link to an article about education in Baltimore, which is in the US. The OP is school kids in the UK. The cause of the former is the terrible way that schools are funded in the US, and is unrelated to sex education in the UK.

I think children should be protected from people like you.

You realise that i think they should be protected from people like you, don't you?
