The SCI also urged the DOE to beef up teacher training on "appropriate and acceptable behavior while interacting remotely with students."

This is way beyond "training". To say this needs to be trained is equivalent to training teachers they must not spit in the faces of their students. If they don't know it already as part of being a fully socialized human being, they have no business being on the payroll. This teacher is a broken person, and I do feel some sympathy for her regarding whatever destroyed her. My sympathy, however, does not extend to believing she deserves a job working with children (or being anywhere in the vicinity of them, until she sorts this shit out). She needs to be fired. Full stop.
