so fucking tired of going onto dating apps like tinder, bumble, etc. just to be shown lots of women (who call themselves non-binary) mixed in with the actual men id like to see on these apps! there's no option to have my preference strictly male, its all just everything-but-a-cisgender-woman. the "preference" of biological-male-with-a-biological-dick doesn't seem too hard to understand.

Oh wow, that's kind of new to me - I hadn't heard that before. Mostly it's been women-seeking-women having to desperately try to avoid girldick. I haven't thought of it in reverse, but makes total sad sense.

There's also a trend of men calling themselves straight joining and saying "cds and trans only" in their profile. It would be one thing if an app wanted to cater to everyone and allowed us to filter all that out, but no app I've seen has crossdresser as an actual stat, so my feed gets clogged with people looking for them

That's annoying yet a bit funny that they won't let you filter out enbys. On Grindr they started banning you from putting "no trans" in your profile but you can still filter it out I think? Actually i could be wrong because i still saw women in there but also I don't pay for premium and they lock a bunch of features behind paywall now.

Certainly when it comes to what THEY'RE looking for, these women (regardless of whether they call themselves "non-binary", "gay trans men", or whatever else) on apps like Tinder seem to understand that "preference" pretty fucking well.
