I would hope so. It should also be illegal to try to convince young girls they are actually boys because they like sports and playing with legos.

No no, that's certainly different, because those penises are on women and lesbians like women, so it's still the lesbians that are wrong.

I think what's becoming clear with this stuff is having legal protections for sexual orientations means absolutely nothing without legal definitions for sexual orientations.

A brave (and well financed) lesbian will have to take it to court to see how the law is really read.

I wonder what it means for trans people. Will treatments to alleviate gender dysphoria other than affirmation be seen as conversion therapy?

That's what LGB people are mostly worried about - young men and women that are likely gay with gender dysphoria will be transed because trying to treat gender dysphoria means you are "converting" them out of being their true trans self.

I really wonder how in case of being trans then it's suddenly treated as the true identity and it's never questioned as possibly a form of false self to cope with your true self, who you don't want to accept to the point you're ready to basically kill it. In psychology there is a lot of talk about suppressing your real self in personality disorders and how your true self resurfacing causes a lot of distress, anxiety etc. How come suddenly no one wonders if the mechanism behind transgender identity is the same and instead of validating it, it should be worked on, looked at what it is exactly, what function it could serve?

LOL. One would think. The law is so full of holes and ambiguities, it's ripe for constitutional challenge.
