It's both TRAs are lying and trans healthcare varying wildly.

You can even see them on Reddit advising new converts on how best to go about getting hormones quickly and easily. They'll advise which therapists are quicker to hand them out, how to answer questions in a particular way, how to find a different therapist if their current one isn't throwing out hormones like candy on Halloween, etc.

I've heard claims to that effect before too... man, don't TRAs realize what a terrible idea that is? The easier they make it for just any old person to transition, the more they increase the likelihood that people will regret and detransition. And the more the number of detransitioners goes up, the more people might start to step back and question the trans movement. It just shows how stupid a lot of TRAs are, they're hurting their own movement when they do shit like this, and hurt a bunch of confused/mentally ill people in the process.

They don't seem to have good long term plans. They have things they want immediately and don't seem to care that those things will completely backfire on their movement in the future.

The rampant homophobia and sexism is starting to come back to bite them in the ass already with media like the BBC finally reporting on it. It's only a matter of time before detransitioners become a serious problem for the trans movement as more people detransition because they were rushed into it at a young age before they could even legally consent to it.

Yes to what sneeuweekhoorn said. They are not thinking of anything but themselves. "What can I get for me right now" is standard operating procedure for narcissists. And yes, they are exactly this stupid. They do not think ahead, about others, about the future, about consequences. They are not that emotionally mature.

No, they just want more numbers, partly for political influence and partly for validation by proxy.
