He says anything not published by Fox News is just propaganda and anti-American. Yeah…. Again he wasn’t like this until recently. I don’t know what changed.

Fence sitters on the gender issue are also getting sick and tired of this bullshit and ironically fox and sky news seem to be the only places that talk about it. That is what is happening.

Full disclosure: I’m an independent.

The American right is saying “wait a minute, this is nuts” in response to gender lunacy. The American left seems to think embracing every TQ+ issue is the best bet. So they’re doubling down on crazy. “Birthing people! Men can have periods! Let a grown man beat the shit out of a woman in UFC! It’s totally cool that a registered sex offender can whip out his dick in front of your 8-year-old daughter! Let’s medically experiment on kids! 100 genders! Call my tree instead of he! Lesbians and straight men love dick!” Most people seeing this think it’s insane and aren’t on board. They’re going to look elsewhere if the left keeps this up. (For example, both of my parents have never voted Republican and they are starting to get really sick of the Democrats for this.)

It's kind of crazy how in the last few years just how many life-time Dem voters are ditching the party because of this insanity. I am not looking forward to the pendulum swinging hard right, which seems inevitable.

Yeah. It’s wild to me that the party that was actually saying “god made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve” when I was teenager is the one living in reality now. You’re right though. It’s only a matter of time before this snaps back and popular opinion turns against LGB people.

There is still time for sane LGB people to speak out. But there are no guarantees.

There are some popular conservative gay people though. Just thinking of Ric Grenell, Andy Ngo, Tammy Bruce, Scott Presler, Brandon Straka, haha formerly Milo! I think a large % of American Republicans are far more accepting of gay people when they share the same feelings on big issues (immigration, the homeless crisis, gun rights, etc.) There will always be hardcore Christian Right who will NEVER accept gay people, but I think the Right these days are far more concerned with immigration, foreign wars, the economy, Woke garbage in the schools, freedom from govt mandates, etc.

And when I say gay people, I mean LGB. It's the TQ+ that will fuel renewed hatred of LGB by attaching like a barnacle and misleading people that they're part of one monolithic group.

There are plenty of people who voted against gay marriage, who still eagerly tune in when Andy Ngo is there to talk about Antifa, and not give Andy's orientation a second thought, but if the media and formerly gay organizations want people to believe Andy Ngo and "Rachel" Levine represent the same group, then the tide turns back.

And for the record, I think the Republicans will take up the TWAW motto soon enough themselves. I don't have great hope for them saying no to the Gender Woo for much longer.

Yeah, as a lifelong Democrat/liberal-progressive, I've certainly noticed this, too. Not least in myself. While I'm never going to go right-wing or Republican, I can't help feeling pretty alienated from the political party and leftism that used to be my home. Now, whenever I have MSNBC on, I'm subconsciously bracing myself to feel outraged and betrayed by their next bout of mindless rah-rah-gender/trans cheerleading.

Problem is, I don't think that the right's any better, really-- yeah, they oppose the trans juggernaut, but often for misogynistic and homo/biphobic reasons. Basically, they see trans as violating gender roles (which is highly offensive to believers in traditional-style pink-is-for-girls/blue-is-for-boys-ism), and as "gay" (cuz being "trans" must mean that you're homosexual, DUH!). They're wrong on both counts, of course... but if they ever realize that? They might join the trans-cult every bit as enthusiastically as Iran has. :(

Had a convo with a conservative fundamentalist Christian a few months ago in which he was shocked that I agreed with him about this. "We tried to warn you," he said. I agreed.

Of course, he also believes wildly untrue things because of his diet of nonsense, so it was pretty strange to have a more sane conversation with him about this than I'd be able to with most of my friends yet. Because in the next breath I virtually had to point out to him that the Earth is not flat.

Such a bizarre time this is.

It’s no coincidence that Fox News, Sky News Australia and other right of centre publications are gaining more viewers. And it’s not because people have become more right wing, but because the left is in denial that the lunatics are out there causing trouble and destroying our institutions.
