This year, more Americans than ever are talking about the rights of transgender people, as states across the country introduced dozens of bills to restrict transgender people’s access to opportunities and freedoms the rest of us take for granted.

Unfortunately, these conversations are often based on misinformation – rather, disinformation promoted by politicians trying to stoke fear and advance harmful policies.

This is why censorship and deplatforming campaigns are your problem too. What goes for Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine now will go for "lesbians are natal women" next year, or the year after. Facebook's extremism warnings are continually being extended to a larger and larger variety of groups (home canning and prepper groups this last week,) Instagram and Twitter censor links from more and more websites each week, Verizon will no longer allow links from certain sites in personal text messages. Chase Bank keeps closing conservative activists' and politicians' accounts unannounced. All done in the name of "protecting our community" or "preventing misinformation."

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but this can get maddening. It's so obvious what they're doing.

The U.S. has become a fascist state (for real this time!) but with a creepy veneer of moral superiority masking the ugly reality of who is oppressing who.
