😹 ayo these posts are hilarious. As I've said before, a haircut/hairstyle can definitely be "empowering", but you have to be self-aware about it and acknowledge WHY your "new look" is empowering. Unpack that shit.

You don't feel "queer enough" because you're a bi woman with a man... and you want people to know you're bi via a hairstyle. 💀

Reminds me of how 40+ years old get mohawks to be seen as badasses (if you watch The Challenge: All-Stars... Mark, Derrick and Ruthie have the same mohawk lol).

These hairstyles may indicate you're having an internal crisis.

I just thought of the PERFECT mixture of the two (being bi and 40+)... Sara Ramirez getting a haircut/mohawk. 😹

Rather than just wearing a rainbow / bi flag somewhere. This must be the new hanky code.

Circling back to this part to point out that age has nothing to do with behavior or one's level of being a "badass," so that attitude was a bit startling to read here (twice). There are people of all ages and orientations on this forum. Being in a given age range doesn't qualify one for contempt. Some of the most "badass" people I know are in their 70s and 80s, incidentally.
