I feel bad for the truscum, I really do. I think we have more in common than we'd like to realize.

Honestly, if it wasn't such a mouthful, I'd like it if we were really LGBDropTheTucutesAGPsFujoshisandTrenders because although I disagree with them in some aspects, there's a lot of stuff in /r/truscum that I think most here would agree with. Namely, the co-opting of "queer" identities by bored straight people is terrible for both our communities.

Better not. I do understand where you're coming from, but although they do seem to hold some similar views, they still hold very... Weird stanpoints on "being cisgender vs being trans". For example, I remember once that I read there that they said that a full OP trans person is literally, exactly the same as a cisgender person. So.... Nah. Better just to stick to same sex attraction, because being trans is just so different.

Yeah, I think many truscums believe in some sort of special threshold where the rule changes. If someone doesn't even try to pass as the opposite sex they agree with us: LG people won't feel attracted to these people. This at least is a more sane view than what TRAs in general believe.

But many truscums (though not all) believe that at some point this isn't true anymore. To them, if you transition enough and pass enough, then LG people have no reason to not feel attracted.

Still, overall I think we can at least have discussions with truscums, try to present our points, reason with them, etc. But if they dislike what TRAs do, if they dislike tucutes so much... Then they should be vocal about it. I know that truscums are often despised in LGBTQ+ communities but if they were more vocal it'd be harder to ignore them. People who dismiss everything we say because we're "cis" can't as easily dismiss them.

I used to feel exactly the same as you, especially because I'm old enough to remember when transsexuals were just gay men withdysphoria who transitioned into women and tried to just live quiet lives. They didn't demand that the whole world play make-believe with them that they are real women. We all understood that they are men who have been physically altered to look like women and they accepted this reality.

This new breed of truscum is too much infected with transgender ideas. A lot of MTF on that sub believe that they have "ladybrains" which are different from male brains. They believe a lot of things that sound scientific on face value but haven't really been proven.

The other thing is that despite how much they complain about the transgenders, they are like that annoying parent in the restaurant or store who just lets their toddler run around and scream and make everyone miserable and they do nothing to stop it. They just sit back and let the transgenders bulldoze their way into women's spaces and LGB spaces, and then after the dust settles, they come in and reap the rewards.

But yes, I do feel sad that there are human beings out there that have a legit mental illness that causes them to want to literally kill themselves because they feel like they are the wrong sex, and meanwhile there are perverts and bored teenage girls out there pretending to be trans and making it all about themselves. Like there are actual human beings suffering from this mental illness, but the transgenders are more likely to call those people transphobes than to show any sort of empathy or sense of brotherhood/sisterhood towards them. That's the part that really makes me sick.

Don't feel bad for them, they are (actually) homophobic, sexist, and anti-intersex. They are much more dangerous than other trans because they use psuedoscience that seems believable at first pass to get their way, and are more likely to change laws & influence society than idiot kids identifying as stargender.

Yup. Can't count how many people I've heard suggest that a trans-identified male has the "brain of a woman" and vice versa. That effect disappears when controlling for homosexuality... which just circles back to the good ol' "a gay man is just a woman in a man's body" and vice versa. Fuck that.

Truscum pressured or """heavily suggested""" I was trans because I "seemed to have a girl brain" and was gay. OH and a lot of the fuckers claim that "being trans is an intersex condition of the brain" and force their way into our communities.

Exactly. Trans ideology is all pseudo-science in the first place, doesn't matter if there are "good ones". They still hold many of the same ideals and are highly sexist, homo/biphobic and anti-intersex as you said. It's stupid that the T even say "well if intersex people exist then trans people can..." No. Stop. One is biological occurence and the other is a fairy tale ideology.

I'm tired of people defending trans ideology because there's "cool" trans people who say what they want to hear---that doesn't make it better. If these "cool" trans people believed in biology, they wouldn't be lying and calling themselves by the opposite sex.

I detransitioned many years back and had terrible gender dysphoria. It fucking sucked. I somehow managed past it---these people need therapy or so something to work it out because it's not normal to take dangerous hormones or saw off perfectly functioning body parts and morph it into "neo" genitals.

I kinda agree. And the people who simply identify as something are less likely to convince a child to hijack their puberty and screw up their bodies forever then the people who actually did those things to their own bodies or wanted to. One problem can be solved once society as a whole gets wise to trenders. The other one can have repercussions for decades.

I actually agree. If it were still/again the truscum in charge of the T, I would see less to no reason to drop it, since my issues with the trans community boil down to three points (1.) "no means no" - e.g. cotton ceiling/boxer ceiling type rhetoric is not acceptable 2.) "hands of kids" - I'm rather quezy about medical transitioning for under 16 year olds 3.) "don't let strangers in" - you need dysphoria to be trans, e.g. the truscum viewpoint)

Nah, truscums are the not-like-the-other-girls of the trans world. They are worse than the average trans person imo because they're so spiteful of their own community. Why would I want to be in the same group as someone who looks down on his own community? They're all ~identity~ types, whether they like it or not. Truscums only dislike the rest because they feel themselves deserving of special treatment. They're even more narcissistic.
