Your post was removed from r/TrueGayMen because it broke the rule regarding "no trans subject matter". It was more appropriate for LGBDropTheT, which you knew, but given that LGBDTT had restricted posting to only approved users, you elected to post it in TGM instead.

You made that post 2 days after Reddit announced their update to their content policy about targeting protected groups, and banned over 2K subs - including r/TrueLesbians.

Every sub on Reddit is in danger of getting banned if we don't kowtow to our trans overlords. Given that Admins have been actively removing content in TGM, we hold no illusions that we are safe. We'll keep the space for gay men as long as we can, but we're not going to let you actively astroturf and then cry about being a victim.

We're not blind to attempts at cultural takeover, and we have no patience for it.

/r/truebisexuals died right after the purge too. There hasn't been a new post in ages. It really gets on my nerves that Reddit murdered /r/truelesbians but left the other two true subs alone. I wasn't a member of that sub but still, it's such bullshit.

There have only been three mods ever of r/TrueGayMen. One who was suspended, one who is a shared mod of LGBDropTheT, and one who was removed about a month ago.

I'm sure our shared mod would be more than happy to provide evidence of exactly why and how your content was removed, instead of you claiming such wild conjecture and smearing their sub without proof. Give a link to your removed post.

r/TrueGayMen sub rules specifically say they're not meant to talk about TRAs. Surely you read those rules, and also feel that gay men have something better to discuss? Or did you just want to make the sub into something it's not?

It seems like r/askgaybros is the sub for gay men with the mind set of r/truegaymen. I get it's more ask/answer my problem then hear me vent but you've got a true free sub there!

The TRA's are gunning for that sub as well. It is often mentioned in /r/againsthatesubreddits or whatever it is called.

I said a few months ago this was going to happen, and it is. The TRA's cannot not help themselves ruining everything they touch.

And they wonder why they are hated so much.

Have any idea when it was removed, OP? Whether it was removed before or after LGBdroptheT was banned would probably give you a good idea of what the reason was.

Before LGBDropTheT was banned (July 10), but after GenderCritical and TrueLesbians were (June 29).

The rules for TGM, however, have been in place for about 8 months. A former mod wanted it made very clear that TGM was meant to be a different kind of space than LGBDTT.
