Polish children on Twitter jump on the bullshit bandwagon and boycott JK Rowling. It's just painful to see as a pole.

I'm removing this because:

  • Most of us are English-speaking and have no idea what is being said or promoted in this series of Tweets.
  • Generally boycotting JK Rowling is not an LGB issue, so unless you can demonstrate significance to us, this breaks rule 2.

The worst part when there are attempts at using gender neutral version of our language and at first you think their keyboard must be broken when you see these "x" letters. It feels so tempting to ask how I'm supposed to pronounce it irl. The way it's constructed proves itself how much the whole gender neutral language is detached from reality and works in written form only.

I've often wondered what "nonbinary" people are doing for languages where literally every single word has a gender lmao. I wonder if they would think China is enlightened and gender-neutral and forward-thinking for not having gendered pronouns 🤔

Chinese does have gendered pronouns in the written form:

他 - He

她 - She

它 - It

However these three words all sound the same in spoken Chinese. There is no 'gender neutral' pronoun that I'm aware of in Chinese, no equivalent of 'they', and other words are not 'gendered' in the way they are in European languages.

I used to travel a lot and I would see things that had been trendy in the US hit other countries a few years later and it depressed the hell out of me. I wanted to scream, "Hey, don't follow American trends, we are idiots!"

Like beautiful customs and clothing styles and delicious, healthy, food that had been native to a country since forever supplanted by bullshit US crap.

The one upside of the US fast becoming a Banana Republic is maybe our destructive influence will slip...

I actually wonder if all that bad stuff coming from America was even American culture to begin with. When I think of American culture, I think of cowboys, farmers, rodeos, barnyards, barbaques, hunting, guns, dancing, diners and other things. I doubt Hollywood, Big Tech and Wall Street are representative of America.

Hollywood, Big Tech and Wall Street are representative of the rich and weird and not representative of many Americans in the Fly Over zones between the coasts. Their backlash is why we have Trump IMO.

What the hell? The Polish government won't even legalise civil partnerships, let alone gay marriage, and these spoilt brats are whining about some words said by someone outside of their country, words that were fact? Priorities.

I'm sorry gay people living in Poland. You're going to have to collectivise and start demonising and shaming these gender freaks, because your government is convinced that we are all associated with these freaks. There is no law in Poland against discriminating against transgender or non-binary people, so get cracking and ban these people from your gay spaces. Ban communists and Marxists well. But sadly, Poland has been trying to be like the America of Europe, for bad as well as for good. Be very careful.

They are all using the hashtag #IstandwithJKRowling, but I don't understand what they are saying? Are they all saying bad things?

I really don't understand how twitter works. Wouldn't using #IstandwithJKRowling as a hashtag just make it look numbers-wise like she's getting all this support from all these people, even though the individual posts themselves are not supportive?

I believe people are 'flooding the hasthag' so that it shows up with negative comments when people click on it. To what end? Your guess is as good as mine, since I'm not a user of Twaddle either.

K-Pop trash did the same thing during some of the recent protests, I believe, to deliberately confuse law enforcement who might have been using Twaddle to locate protest loci.

I'm Russian and whenever I see a Russian teenager identifying as trans I die a little on the inside. I mean, so far it's mostly just been kids. But I hope it doesn't continue. It makes me sad because I've also ONLY seem FTMs and they're always young.
