Show me where JKR said people’s gender had to match what it was “assigned” at birth. She’s bent over backwards to say that she accepts trans people. JKR has only voiced concerns about when trans demands directly conflict with the rights and safety of women, children, and LGB people.

If people can’t see how TQ is flat-out lying and being a bully with this, I don’t know know what will convince them.

I'm starting to think it's going to be physical violence, but then again maybe not even then. Like if JK appeared in public and had a brick thrown at her or something, I'd like to think that would mark the beginning of the end of people taking any of these people seriously.

But then again, the United States has been engulfed in maelstroms of physical violence for months now, and people still cleave to the idea that violence is justified if the causus belli is sufficiently woke.

The violence that’s accompanied the BLM protests seems to have either further entrenched the woke or completely disgusted people. I’m not certain that someone attempting to physically harm JKR will change the minds of the woke, but it probably would sway moderates. Let us hope no one attempts to harm her.

Not a woke SJW and you are right... the violent threats I read and saw online swayed me to join JKR.

We are undermining their legal and societal incursions bit by bit. We will vote in politicians who have a spine and can say what is factual without determining which way the political wind is blowing (especially a problem with career politicians who act more out of self-interest than the public's welfare).

Germaine Greer has had stuff thrown at her. Unsure if a brick.

GG is no JK, Rowling is beloved by people of any age and social standing. Greer isn’t easy to deal with, you have to be mentally prepared.

She's a 76 year old woman who is very straightforward that this is her opinion, and that opinions differ, and I'm sure she'd be happy to hear other views and debate them sincerely.

I don't think she deserves to have stuff chucked at her.

People are starting to wake up, ahem, in a BIG way. Just read the comment section of any article on The Daily Mail (politics makes for strange bedfellows!) about TRA activity. About 99.9% of readers' comments ask the same questions we do and express the same utter dismay.

Omg, you're right!! I just remembered to check the comments of Jammidodger (FTM) video about the tweets of J K Rowling, saying she was transphobia and the comments have changed quite a bit since the last time I checked it! One of the highest rated comments was from a TRANS WOMAN defending J K Rowling :D At least, I already see some considerable change.

The Daily Mail's UK commentators skew conservative, so I wouldn't read too much into their comments. What's strange to me is how many male Daily Mail commenters play along with the TWAW and pronoun garbage while criticizing individual trans activism.

It's like they know they have to at least appear to be PC, and are terrified they'll be cancelled if they step out of the trans party line, even if they don't actually believe TWAW. That could be because of the UK's draconian hate speech laws regarding criticism of trans anything...

Damn the epic level of projections and out right lying critics of JKR shovel on her.

JKR has been an absolute Queen in all this.

Good for her. Also:

to create a narrative that diminishes the identity of trans and non-binary people, undermining the validity and integrity of the entire transgender community

Uh, the TRAs did that. To themselves and the people they think they speak for.
