Jeanne d'Arc was wearing "feminine" cloths by todays standarts, but those were "masculine" cloths back then. So it is even more weird with their own description of femininity and masculinity.

JK Rowling published under men's name too, so her books are taken seriously. I guess she is trans now and all attacks on her are just transphobia.

You joke, but I've seen some people speculate that JKR is secretly trans and all her criticism of extreme trans activism is just internalized transphobia. An incredibly niche conspiracy theory, but one that just shows how far the denial goes in some of them.
