I don’t know whether you’re gonna love to hate or just hate my cleaning house of r/LBL series on here but I feel compelled to gatekeep my own kind because these people are what people are going to think of when I have to tell my story until the end of time. The more I’ve poked around there the more I see it as “actuallesbians: the later years.“ But slightly less girldick, and more regular dick. There is a lot of cultiness and immaturity there.

I used to really be grossed out reading there, then I realized it’s not even a lesbian sub, so it’s got a lot of lesbian-fetish people and women who are unhappy with their husbands, and all are idealizing same sex relationships from outside of them. It’s mostly just sexual fantasy and not based in reality. Once I saw that, I saw them a lot differently, and if they take the comphet doc seriously then I completely understand why their thinking is so out of touch.

My most recent post in this series checks all of these boxes: A single mom who at 31 realized for the first time that women are pretty from watching TikTok videos after seeing her friend come out as a lesbian on social media and thinking relationships between women look "easy." She also suddenly realized she suppressed a memory of watching Mean Girls and thinking Janice Ian looked attractive when she put on a suit (internalized homophobia, amirite?). Loooool “easy.” Okay. We say “Dyke Drama” for a reason. Anyone who thinks being with a woman is easy is kidding themselves. And she should be aware that she has to literally pay attention and make effort during sex if she wants to be with women, so if you’re not into women and don’t love that idea, then it’s probably not for you. Easy. Lol. You have to be a full on lesbian or really female-leaning bisexual to make it with women long term, for the majority of women. There is no way legit bi women would behave that way unless there is something deeply wrong with them that is unrelated to sexual orientation. Either that or they are going to look back on the clueless stuff they did when coming out that was deeply tone deaf at best and harmful at worst.
