I’m a librarian. JKR’s stuff has been going out slightly more than it used to in our system. Most has been regular circulation, but I’ve encountered a few patrons who are reading her because they’re mad people are saying you can’t.

Tell people they can't have something and they'll want it. Which is nice in this case, since JK Rowling a pretty good writer and deserves her massive reader base, if you ask me. The TRA hysteria definitely inspired me to buy her work.

That's probably what got a lot of people into HP. Bible thumpers wagging their finger and saying they can't, and it getting onto a lot of banned book lists. The familiar moral outrage is back, the counter-culture is responding in a predictable fashion.
