If rebranding tomboy to "non binary" gives young people a way to be special and fashionable without cutting parts of their bodies off, then maybe that's for the best.

It’s tempting to think that way but I believe it’s a gateway to further identity problems and eventually cross sex hormones.

I knew a lot of people who identified as non-binary to went on to become True Trans, it’s known about in the community.

She claims to dress in an ‘extremely’ feminine way, and ‘is’ NB because of gender roles. If those roles didn’t exist she wouldn’t ‘be’ NB, accordingly to her. It’s an interesting delusional take that I haven’t heard put out there quite so explicitly before.
