If she wants to play male roles she will have transition, no one is going to want to hire someone with an obviously female voice as a male character

Good luck finding a male role for someone 5’0” and 100 lbs. There’s a reason she’s been cast as a pregnant teenage girl, a woman passing as a kid, and other diminutive roles.

In the movie version of Peter Pan I recall - the one from 1960 - Peter was played by a grown woman, Mary Martin, who was 47 at the time!
