Sometime ago I noticed something quite interesting about about sex positive supporters. For a bunch of people who love to criticize religious people's notions of sexuality, they surely are also quite evangelical in their own beliefs. I wondered how they didn't see the irony, but it seems I understimated how cultish they were. No surprising, I guess, since I knew little about how cults operate until this year.

A lot of them are also weirdly prudish. They're fine with superficially supporting kinks and fetishes, but they don't want to hear about actual biology, icky fluids, or how to practice safe sex. Of course, the entire gender cult is extremely anti-biology, but it always strikes me how childish many of them seem to be about sex and genitals.

Something I've also noticed about the gender cult is that they care about their own sexual pleasure but give zero care to the sexual pleasure of their (potential or actual) partner. Sex is very selfish for many of them when it should be a 50/50 give and take.

Yes, they sound quite selfish and they don't care much, if any, about respecting other people's boundaries either.

The hearts not parts crowd? I wonder how many of them are virgins for whom sex is strictly theoretical.

More than a few, I'd suspect.

The doubts started to creep in early, though—on day one, to be exact. Our first classroom module was titled “Sexual Attitude Reassessment.” I amused myself with the thought that this sounded like an unsettling euphemism for a brainwashing session. Sadly, that’s what it was.

Now you better understand why all so called "professionals" agree on TRA, because they've been indoctrinated at the University level. That's cunning. "Critical theory" my butt...

I wonder if that's why so many of my junior colleagues are so woke their eyes have fallen out. It's quite jarring. Good on this guy for speaking up about it.

My own teaching role is informal with mostly pre-clinical students so I was insulated from that part of it I guess (Last year I got TERFed once by students but that's it).

I couldn’t get past the part where a man was beaten into dissociation. The next generation is going to need SOOooooo much therapy when they grow up. What a heartless, joyless, dictatorial world they’re being groomed into.

It sounds positively dystopian.

It's enough to make one consider that maybe social conservatives have a point.

It's terrible that the left eschews any form of moderation.

I'd already hear about many of the things the author explained, but even so it was a disturbing read. I can't imagine how shocking must be for someone signing up for this course with little idea about queer theory and thinking he will receive a serious education. But to teach this to kids? What a nightmare!

They officially draw the line at pedophilia, but I would not be surprised if this is only for fear of public backlash. Why are they so eager to tell kids about BDSM, otherwise?

Within such frameworks, sex education shall not be deemed truly inclusive unless it incorporates explanations of every possible kind of sexual activity one might consider pleasurable, up to and including kink, polyamory, and BDSM. When I directly asked one professor in the program whether very young children were really psychologically ready for exposure to some kinds of content, he argued that “age appropriateness” was a conservative myth. For the AASECT faithful, no age is too young to encourage a child to wonder whether they identify as a non-binary, polyamorous, kinky, pansexual. We were even given pointers about how to sidestep local regulations by creatively shoehorning banned sexual content into lessons.

This is some scary shit. It's no wonder some parents fear the public schools. How many families really know for sure what their kids are being taught? It seems like educators are being taught how sneak in content behind parents' backs, knowing they would never approve. Apparently it's not enough that children are being taught misogyny through porn and pop culture. Educators are conspiring to introduce it in schools as well.

Yes, this has been true for a while now. A lot of people who work in sexuality studies/sex ed have this one-dimensional view of "if it's kinkier, it's definitely better, no exceptions." The role of these educators is to present accurate information, and DIFFERENT views/perspectives, not just one...

(Oh and obviously, this mostly applies to adults, kids should not be taught about BDSM, wtf?)

Planned Parenthood teaches kids about BDSM:

They also provide on-demand hormones to teenagers (18+) with no medical or psychological evaluations required.
