I think every country has it's disadvantages and advantages. We read the worst about every country here, without the good stuff.

Canada seems like a bad place if you just focus on trans stuff, but... I'm quite happy here.

I don't know, I would have to experience living in other places to be able to accurately answer that question. Just from the outside, the US seems to suck for everyone, regardless of your sex really.

I think what you say here: "that’s a small issue compared to the things above but it’s threatening to remove practically all our hard-won rights" contradicts itself. How is removing all our hard won rights a small issue? I would argue that's it's the biggest issue of all and it's only getting worse with UK rugby recently allowed trans women to compete in women's categories.

I am in the UK and I got more hopeful after JKR spoke up, but I now see that TRA movement has money behind it and medicalizing children benefits big pharma. I believe it's going to get better eventually, but it will probably get much worse first and a lot of women, children, female athletes etc. are going to get hurt in the process.

  1. Rotherham etc.
  2. Holbeck

Those two things alone tell me something’s wrong in the UK. Also weren’t there quite a lot of “rough sex” defence claims winning in the trials of murdered women, at least until the law was only very recently changed?

Kellie-Jay Keen also recently did a video on YouTube about the abysmal sex education going on in UK schools—very kinky and not at all good for girls growing up in porn culture.

Nowhere is good for women. There is only “bettter” and “worse.”

I've lived in several countries and now live in the UK. I've been here for 10 years now. I certainly haven't done a major analysis of laws affecting women around the world, but I'm pretty happy with what we've got in the UK. Could be better; could be much, much worse.
