This is insulting to Joan of Arc. I'm pretty fucking sure she would have laughed at someone calling her nonbinary. She had more important shit to do.

Interesting also that the only examples they name were women. Women in power? Can't be, must have been secretly men or at least not 100% female.

Because there were no-one who can qualify as TiM. Women in those societies were restricted by law to do a lot of stuff, in most cases women were counted just as property. So obviously no man would take "a women's role". It is seen even nowadays - transgenderism is appearing only in countries where women fought their rights and are on decently equal footing with men (not exactly equal, but much closer than in other societies).

While for women to do anything it was just impossible, so they were needed to either be great exception and hold huge support of masses or rich aristocracy, or they were forced to pretend they are a man (as otherwise they'd be executed or put in jail for doing "not women's work").

And in general, main troubles from transideology is coming from TiMs, while TiFs are ignored even by their own kind.
