ooh I guess my comment sounds a bit misleading, I mean it's bullshit that the comments got deleted at all. The top comment (which was critical) and a lot others were up for a day or so. So I feel like deleting them, after plenty of people had time to read them, just makes reddit look worse and could make people suspicious.

I literally just ordered that book solely for this reason. I had written off JK a bit in the last years because I didn't like what she did with the Harry Potter universe and all her weird new ideas that she supposedly already planned 20 years ago while writing the book, all of it clearly untrue. But, at least her stance in this topic I can fully agree on and support.
