OP, your thread title brings back memories of when feminists were routinely characterized, and dismissed, as "crazy angry women's libbers." Are you casting aspersions on Jenn Smith for being angry? Or am I misreading it? If am misreading, sorry.

BTW, what positions of Jenn Smith's do you find crazy? Honest question.

I dunno all of Jenn Smith's views on every topic, but a lot of what he says about safeguarding children I agree with. Same goes for what he says about how TRAs and gender ideology conflict with women's rights and put girls and women in danger. I especially like his explanations of why we shouldn't ever call trans-identified males like himself women or refer to them as "she" and "her."

I also like that he says that in all the years he's been dressing as he does, he's never been assaulted or bullied or otherwise given a hard time in men's loos or other men's facilities - and that even if had been, it's still no reason for men like him to try to force and guilt-trip their way into female facilities.

He dresses like that but I can call him HE and he uses the men's room? Good and good! The others must hate him.

I see he has a channel. And a male voice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH58J8W2h24&ab_channel=TheaJenndawithJennSmith

He's taken a lot of heat and has been ostracized by many people. His views on gender are sound. He grew up in the foster care system and has done research showing that a very high percentage of children currently in the system are being transed. Jenn has some views that might be considered out there but overall he has been consistent in his GC views for years. He was one of the first GC people to be kicked off of Twitter as far as I can remember - it was years ago.

I’m not sure that he’s actually hoping to win. I think he may be using this as a platform to force the authorities to let him speak. He’s campaigning to get politicians to agree to a national enquiry into the mass transgendering of up to 20% of the foster children in his area, many of whom are autistic and almost all of whom are under the care of one single doctor, Wallace Wong. Smith was a foster child himself, and states that the trauma that he went through played a big part in him developing OCD and a transgender identity, and he doesn’t want this to be pushed on other vulnerable children. He’s been prevented from speaking on this issue by the TRAs, who hate him with the fire of a thousand suns, so this seems like quite a clever way of making sure that his points are heard.

I know nothing about him beyond that I have read some of his writing and agreed with it. So if this is his true purpose, well, great. Foster children in Canada and the US (California) are being transitioned, and it's a crime.

Smith is doing important work. This story is a total (racist!) scandal being brushed under the rug because it happens to align with current misplaced left-wing values. I hope people wake the fuck up.

[edit: racist because they're disproportionately First Nations.]

Protect children from 'Big Pharma'? So no hormones for them then?
