I don't know. I prefer my misogyny blatant and wide open for all to see. Sneaky fuckers that sit there and try to act like their actions are the epitome of altruism and pretend to hold women up while actively doing everything possible to shit us back down again, that's betrayal.

We're just a tool for fucking votes either way. How does it come to this? Being half the population and being reamed?

The gender lobby's attack on women's rights has been exposed as the sneak, global, well-funded and well-planned attack it's turned out to be.

In the US, I think that many women my age thought that, while we didn't have full rights, we had enough to get on with our lives, careers, kids...so we were busy and asleep to what was unfolding.

Little did we know that, instead of being taught that our rights were fragile and our battles far from won, Women's Studies had become Gender Studies and younger women were being indoctrinated into Queer Theory in the universities.

Then older women who should know better, like Harris, Warren, Feinstein, Hillary Clinton, even RBG, are being made to feel foolish when they question how the "rights" of men who think they're women are suddenly more important than those of actual women. They want to feel as if they're not dinosaurs so they push their doubts aside and spout the TWAW mantra enthusiastically. It's just sad that none of them apparently have the critical thinking skills to step back and say, "Hey, wait a minute..."

So yes, we are screwed, but Trump just came out and endorsed the new KKK (Proud Boys) during the debate, so...

And he is crazy, Trump. I interacted with him decades ago and he was the same then: a flashy, amoral, narcissitic, grifter completely out for him$$self. Now he's all of the above plus some dementia issues, so having him near an atomic bomb kind of has made up my mind.

We're just a tool for fucking votes either way.

Are politicians not tools for enacting policy in the same way?

They're tools, for sure. They certainly seem to be working for someone, but it's likely just corporate interests and big money.

We need something like the Sunshine Act (US law to guard against corruption in the medical/pharmaceutical industry) pass to curtail this in the lobbying industry, and Congress would never pass such a law and deprive themselves of the enrichment. This is why the convention of states is really needed.
