I share many of your thoughts.

US far-Left media is an example of being bought by the transgender lobby: the flagship Leftist TV news program, Democracy Now!, which should be called Hypocrisy Now! because Amy Goodman is full of shit- is fully onboard the Trans Train. Why? Look at its funders.

Same with NPR.

Same with media outlets like Scientific American, Nature, the New York Times, NBC, Mens Health, Teen Vogue, etc., many have been bought by companies with a vested interest in pushing the trans lobby agenda.

There is something much more sinister going on. GC activist, Jennifer Bilek, who has a blog that you can find on Twitter @bjportraits thinks the ultimate aim of the transgender lobby is transhumanism, and she makes a good case.

We are running out of time and desperately need to organize. Most human beings are on our side, but we need to reach them with GC arguments and we need to do it now.

Yes. It SUCKS that resources I used to consider useful are now tainted by this garbage. Used to read a lot of Guardian articles, but some of their recent behavior has really gotten me put off. Where can I go for realistic information now? Many scientific articles are blocked with expensive paywalls... It blows me over that I have to look up "Christian Times" or whatever to read about what bizarre antics the lobby is up to in the US.

One thought I've had is to tell people about this phenomenon in a way that circumvents the whole issue of women's rights. TBH, many people in the US are misogynists and/or they hate and revile anything that sounds like "feminism". Frame it in a way that centers on children and the fallout everyday people will experience due to this, and a wider audience might be reached.

I think the issue that might make people wake up (in the US, that is) is to educate them about how the trans lobby is trying to access children, remove parental rights, groom children in schools under the guise of "sex education" etc... just comment drop. Men who are happy at the idea of "feminists being put in their place", for example, are revolted at the idea of weirdos grooming their precious sons into transitioning, or at the idea of their daughters getting mastectomies without parental consent. The idea of them having their "paternal rights" removed tends to piss even the most misogynistic men off.

Another point to make is this-- who really wants their tax dollars to go towards transitioning, let alone have their insurance premiums skyrocket due to the costs related to transitioning? I've known so many women who had extreme difficulty getting hysterectomies and/or breast reductions, or even accessing birth control. I would be irate beyond words if fetishistic men had carte blanche access to cosmetic surgery where women's health-related surgeries are denied.

I was just asking my extremely misogynistic ex what he thought in regards to having TW compete in women's sports. He actually brought up this topic to me long before I knew it was "a thing" because he wanted to tease me for being a "lefty". He thought it was ridiculous, although he also thought it was stupid for women athletes to sue for equal wages. Anyway-- I brought up the point to him that allowing trans people into the teams of their choice could open up the possibility of making performance enhancing drugs legal. If a man is allowed to take estrogen and compete in sports, why can't a "dysphoric" woman take testosterone? ...if "gender is fluid" as the trans lobbyists say, couldn't a woman athlete declare herself "nonbinary, identifies as woman" and take steroids, and still compete on the women's team if she claims she identifies as a female? He kept saying, "Well, estrogen is not a performance enhancing drug." This is true, but a woman who sees herself as trans or non-binary could conceivably take steroids/testosterone, gain an advantage, and yet still identify as a woman. How could the team boot her for performance enhancing drugs if she claims to be "trans"?

A couple of people at work were not aware of this whole movement, and became totally disturbed by it when I told them a thing or two about stuff that has legit happened in the UK.

What disturbs me the most is that this stuff will undoubtably be pushed under the radar in legislation, particularly if there's a democratic sweep. It will be a part of legislation for larger social-welfare bills, just as the whole "gender ideology" concept was pushed in some states under the guise of "sex education". I'm not saying "vote right to avoid this", because I could easily see right wingers viewing transitioning as a "cure for gay children". I'm at a loss as to what to do aside from spreading the word.

Aside: https://sci-hub.tw/ Strips the paywall off science articles.

I'm pretty much where you're at. I have no idea what's going on in the US because there's just a total media and political blackout and every state is different. I don't believe it's better than the UK, I believe it's worse, we just don't know it. Gender Spectrum is in schools, California and NY have self-ID and misgendering laws with no democratic input. I don't know if these are being enforced and I don't believe they will actually stand up as constitutional... but maybe I'm dreaming.

Ditto. I'm afraid of a New ERA replacing sex with gender identity. If Dems do win, we need to be on the phone to them daily. MAKE them listen.

I've been thinking about that for a long time. I wish they'd hurry up and pass the thing before that happens.
