Because they know their ideology makes no sense beyond being self-serving and they know even the libfems don't believe it really. Their biggest fear is that people actually start reading GC ideas with an open mind and find they agree with them so their only solution is to just try to take away any platform GC has. This can't really work in the long run. Eventually, people enabling TRAs will move on to some other cause and other people will stop being terrified to voice agreement and investigate GC views for themselves. Remember as much as many people may say they hate "TERFs" the vast majority of those TRA supporters agree that sex is real and immutable at least and that transwomen are male.

I agree. The majority of the TRA supporters don't even know that so many TRAs are claiming that transwomen are female or transmen are male. They genuinely don't know about the outlandish claims.

I did get one commenter on r/asktransgender to admit that trans women were "not canonically female". Nonbinary people seem more open to acknowledging the reality and immutability of the sex binary; maybe that is why I do? Is biology denial stronger amongst binary trans?

You said it all. And they even shamelessly admitted this on AHS

I first checked out r/GenderCritical last year because of one of them saying that to someone else in a sub I was lurking in "Don't even read what they have to say! You may agree with it and "become a bigot!" ". Total cult behavior. So pathetic when they say things like that and don't realize it means they have no real arguments.

I grew up in a Buddhist cult, and that is one of the things we were forbidden to do: read about other sects, visit other houses of worship, not have Buddhist idols, etc.

It was considered slanderous, breaking unity within the group, and inviting bad karma.

I hope everyone realizes that the whole trans nonsense IS A CULT.

People have a very narrow definition of what constitutes a cult.

The assume it means wearing funny clothes, leaving your family, and living in a commune.

That is far from the only type of cult.

There are self help gurus, like Byron Katie, and my cult, Soka Gakkai, that is a cult.
