I saw this all over Twitter yesterday, but it still takes a few seconds for my brain to process reading the phrase "non-straight cisgender people." Why waste time say lot word when few word do trick?

Also of note: When I saw this being blasted all over Twitter yesterday, the context wasn't clear at first so I went googling for the phrase source. I found a source from April 2019 and from October 2014 (!!!) among a few other more recent/late 2019 sources that also used the phrase.

I can't imagine calling a lesbian sister or a gay brother or bisexuals of either sex "non-straight cisgender people."

It reeks of medicalization. Like there's something wrong with you.

Get it: I am a straight woman. I am not "cisgender" anything. That is a slur and I'm not having it let alone inflicting it.
