I don't think there are any QT types on saidit. The QT won the reddit wars, and they're not going to start stalking us again until they realise that we're getting too powerful over here, lol. It would be more like GCdebatesConservative on this site, I suspect. And I believe there are plans to create a debate sub, it's just that because we're all new users we have to wait the 2 weeks.

The Reddit debate sub had to go private, but it's still available if you message the mods.

I agree it would be good to have a backup here. I think most of our community would migrate over, including our QT posters. I thought about creating it myself, too, but it won't let me because of the two-week wait time.

I participated in GCdebatesQT, but they also heavily censored, like all the GC-space subs did, on everything in the "woke progressive stack" except for very specific elements you were allowed a bit freer discussion on.

I would really enjoy seeing a more open debate/discussion sub. There wasn't one on reddit. There was ask_radical_feminists, but that wasn't a debate sub, it was just an "ask us what we think about X" sub.

I think /s/Feminism could serve this purpose. It was originally started as an antifeminist sub but it seems to accommodate feminist stuff and pro-women content just as well. It could be in the spirit of SaidIt, allowing genuine open discussion on the topic as long as it isn't stupid insults, instead of being "only for feminists who follow XYZ rules because I say that's what feminism is and I'm a mod haha."
