But the question was: are trans people who pass treated as the opposite sex even if their 'birth sex' is known'? In the case of your three examples, obviously no. Marketing yourself as 'the Man with the Pussy' is not a male experience.

From what I heard from trans people, sometimes yes and sometimes no.

You can also draw conclusions about the wider population by looking at sex-based trends, such as the likelihood of being the victim of sexual assault, or of holding political office, and then at how well trans people match up with (or don't match up with) the trends of their own ('birth') sex.

Trans women of color are more likely to get killed than any other group of trans people. For transgender women, the pay equity gap is even wider.

This doesn't make sense as a response to what you quoted. Further, I don't know why GCers would treat transmen like men because they don't think they're men.

It feels hypocritical to me that GCs complain no one listens to trans men but then they do not listen to trans men themselves.

You weren't talking about how GCers classify transmen though, you were talking about how you classify transmen, and you specifically grouped them with GC women instead of GC men.

I classify trans men with whatever terms they want to be classified as.

Your analysis will inevitably be incomplete then-- of course transmen who currently identify as men will not consider their identity to be a result of internalised misogyny. That would suggest their identity is not innate. If you listen to female people who used to identity as trans though, you will encounter that narrative more often than not.

Do you think trans men who have identified as men for many years and still identify as men transitioned due to internalized misogyny?

What I'm saying is yes there are trans men who transition due to internalized misogyny, but they do not make up the majority of the cases. Statistically detransition is rare. GCs frequently repeat the mantra that trans women transition due to fetishism while trans men transition to escape sexism, implying these are the majority of cases when they aren't at all, and many assume every trans man will eventually regret their transition. One trans man wrote "I really do wish terfs and transphobes would realize that a few people are not the rule." For instance, here is a comment from the old GC sub:

My cousin began identifying as trans when she was 16. She began hormones at 16. At 20 she had surgery to remove her breasts and alter her genitals. She's almost 24 now, currently shows no signs of wanting to detransition, but I'm sure it will happen eventually.

Her cousin has been trans for 8 years already and according to her, "shows no signs of wanting to detransition" but it will happen anyway. Right now on r/GenderCynical, there is a thread where a person says they posted their surgery consultation video on YouTube and got the comment "See ya on the detrans subreddit on 2 years!" Like, why are you just assuming that person doesn't know what they're doing? Even now on Ovarit there is a thread where many GCs believe trans surgeries should be outright illegal.

However, there are trans people that do regret it. Here is a comment from r/FTM.

It’s tough because to be honest the only person I know in real life to have detransitioned is a huge hot mess mentally, and I support her decision to identify how she does now just like I support anyone’s decision to identify how they feel best represent’s them and change their mind, but it kind of gave me insight into a type of person who is a huge mess and threw transitioning in there to try and fix it, only for it to not make the laundry list of mental illnesses go away, and so they detransitioned when it wasn’t the fix-it they hoped it would be. This is all to say that I see a lot of the same language/getting those vibes from a nonzero amount of people on the detrans page and where I’ve seen detrans people be noisy on tumblr/YouTube as well
