But if you’re safety hinges on undermining the rights and needs of so many others maybe your community needs to deeply reevaluate some of your stances and the things you’re demanding from people who have nothing to do with you.

So your safety matters but ours doesn’t?

I was 14 the first time I got the courage to tell someone. If I had been able to act then I wouldn’t be stuck as a freak now. I could have lived a normal life. But you want to take that chance away.

I don’t know if you even realize it but every one of your demands in your original reply is a way to make sure trans women can’t pass and can’t live a normal life.

Lmao way to ineffectively twist my words. I didn’t say your safety doesn’t matter- I said, as I’ve said so many times- it’s not our responsibility to protect you or be used by you as shields. Period. It is on you and your community to figure out your safety needs in a way that doesn’t infringe on the rights and spaces of others. Women/females have nothing to do with you, we are not the same, our needs are different. Figure out safety measures that don’t include invading the safe spaces of another marginalized group. Just as women did for their safe spaces. Copy them in this, if you need to. You copy so much else. As far as you being 14 when you knew whatever you knew about yourself- I still choose not to stunt the growth and development of and sterilize children. Sorry if that upsets you. And I don’t care if transwomen pass or not. Has nothing to do with me or my rights.

As I’ve explained to you numerous times, we can’t do it like natal women did. The numbers, resources, and societal position are different.

I knew way before I was 14. But I was too scared to talk about it.

And if at that time I would have gotten the medical care I needed I wouldn’t be stuck as Trans Quasimodo Now. I could have had a real life and that’s what you are so dead set on depriving us of.

And I don’t care if transwomen pass or not.

Except you do since literally all of your demands are just make sure trans women can’t hide so they are misearable pariah.

all your demands...to make sure transwomen...miserable pariah

Actually transwomen aren’t the most important people to women, and it’s more about self protection. you’re obsessed with the idea of being victimised every second of the day but this does not mean women are out to hurt your feelings. Your hurt feelings are merely a byproduct of the goal, which is to protect women.

Idk why this remains incomprehensible to you. Feminists do not target you.

I am not sure why hurting feelings (or protections, or health) of women is never accounted, but hurting feeling of transwomen is.

Keeping trans women away from hormones while their bodies are still salvageable is hurting trans women. Making sure trans women are as exposed to discrimination as possible by not even letting us have safe paperwork is Anti trans.

Pro women is not anti trans regardless of your insistence. Protecting children from medical experimentation at the cost of not being as pretty as they want is not cruelty even if you feel you are personally unattractive as a result of your transition.

None of what women want is about you. It is about women. Male problems with that are for males to deal with.

Exactly this.

Pity masks/voids deliberately ignores this in favour of the much easier victimhood route.

Pro women isn’t anti trans but anti trans is anti trans.

And we aren’t being anti trans. Which you choose to ignore and say things like not getting medical experimentation as a child making people feel less pretty is the same as being robbed of a right.

Same thing every day. You say there is literally nothing that transgender people can do and that’s why women need to be shields for transwomen, there’s no other way and you are going to be beaten weekly if we don’t and it’s all women’s fault.

You’re not even here to debate just to repeat this argument in as many ways as you can.

Transgender women are not the responsibility of women even if this makes you sad. This does not mean women are out to hurt you. If you stop thinking of yourself as the victim in any scenario brought forward you’d have seen this years ago.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (135 children)

Stopping a trans person who knows they are trans early from getting help while they can still live a normal life is horrific. It’s not “experimentation”.

I keep reminding you that trans women can’t make meaningful change because you keep pretending we can. And yeah trans women get attacked. Espescially if they can’t blend which y’all are deadset on ensuring.

You’re not even here to debate just to repeat this argument in as many ways as you can.

Hard to debate when you all just ignore how vulnerable and powerless trans women are and just pretend we have the power of cis men.

This isn’t about “protecting women”. Making trans women out themselves To anyone they have any kind of social contact with isn’t about protecting women. Or making us unprotected (and insulted) by forcing us to use male id. Or trying to make sure trans women can’t get necessary care until it’s too late to have a normal life. This isn’t about rights or spaces. I’m talking about measures that just specifically harm trans women and don’t really have anything to do with natal women’s rights.

It’s literally medical experimentation because there is no history of long term cross hormone use in healthy anybody let alone children. That’s a medical experiment. Maybe if people stop perpetuating the idea that male=giant hulking ogres, barely distinguishable from a gorilla, it wouldn’t feel so depressing to be denied healthy bone growth.

I keep telling you male problems aren’t female responsibility and yet you keep pretending they are. Maybe listen to women instead of making emotionally manipulative claims like “life is not worth living with large shoulders”.

Maybe instead of demanding women shield you, you advocate for the sort of rules other countries have that protects you as a class of your own.

Having crime stats reflect trans women’s crimes as male crimes isn’t to hurt you, it’s to have accurate crime stats. Having a doctor know you’re male isn’t to allow them to harass you, it’s so they know you can get prostate cancer but your stomach ache is not an ectopic pregnancy.

~nobody listens or cares or has enough money or power to do anything for transgender people~ How does that make it women’s responsibility? Explain why women exclusively are the only people who can possibly do anything to save one group of males from another.

You’re never gonna get the point because you really already do get the point but refuse to address or deal with it. Period. It’s sad and incredibly frustrating.

  1. You not being able to find another solution doesn’t make what you’re doing to women and our spaces justified. You are undermining and invading our safe spaces.

  2. I don’t support abusing children in the name of gender identity. It doesn’t matter what you say- I’m never going to support it and will always protest it

  3. If women maintaining our rights and spaces and language causes so many issues for transwomen that just highlights how abusive and unfair towards women your community is. That’s not on women or me. That’s on transwomen. I will never feel bad about what repercussions upholding female rights has on any male.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

I will never feel bad about what repercussions upholding female rights has on any male.

I know. Because you hate trans women and don’t care that we are hurt.

[–]loveSloaneDebate King 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

So then you hate women and don’t care if we feel that we are unsafe and being disenfranchised. You’re no better than what you’re accusing me of.

Eta- the fact that you can’t even deny that your needs conflict with and undermine female rights and still have the audacity to act like I’m wrong for my sentiment is hilarious to me.
