I mean I can’t speak to anyone else’s subjective experience but you can’t make someone else go doesn’t want to transition magically want to.

Of course they want to, but the question is why. I have my theories, and social class is part of that.

I may be some small percentage but I think you are born trans or not. You can’t be convinced to hate your genitals or that it’s a great idea to give up your friends, family, career, and any money you do have to remake your body. You want it or not and I don’t think social class can make you want to.

But a lot of these kids don't hate their genitals.

You're think of sex and genital dysphoria, which is not even on the menu as needed to be non-binary or trans-identified for kids or teens. I don't think middle class natal female teenagers who don't hate their vaginas or breasts and who are attracted to boys were legitimately born trans. This is not a population seen in other demographics. Not historically, and not in most parts of the non-Western world.

Especially ones who want to still have their genitals and calling transgays and transbians, and want sex with gay men, while still having vaginas, or lesbian women, while still having penises.

Exactly. They don't have genital dysphoria if they enjoy their genitals and look forward to using them during sex. It boggles my mind that a natal female person can be attracted to men and want men to penetrate her vagina, yet consider herself a "gay trans man." Like how? That's heterosexuality. What about their sex do they hate if they enjoy their female body parts?

You are making an awful Lot of jumps there.

I don't think I am. Where are the poor elementary school kids in the inner city who are being transitioned?

What about non-homosexual natal female teenagers in places like Africa, India, China, and Japan?

I keep reading stories about trans boys who are pre-puberty, almost all white, all middle to upper middle class, all in the Western world, with no hint that these children feel even the slightest discomfort with their vaginas.

They’re too scared to be themselves and unable to afford it. Just because they haven’t been able to doesn’t mean they don’t want to.

I just can't agree. I think it's more that such topics are not on those people's radars. There is no reason for there to be thousands of non-homosexual (or even homosexual) young female transitioners in those environments because it's not something that's entertained as a topic of discussion. Those girls don't think that they are boys because it's clear they are girls.

Just like in most of the world, a preteen girl who dresses and lives as a boy is a girl. A prepubescent girl who hates her vagina is incredibly rare. Girls in non-middle class, non-Western environments are not being transitioned because they present no medical symptoms that would lead anyone to think they are in distress.

Nobody is “being transitioned” those who are able are being allowed to transition at their request. It’s not being pushed on anyone. As someone who lost a lot and waded a lot of red tape, we are actively discouraged from it from basically every angle.

I'm talking about young children. They can't transition themselves, and there's no red tape involved.

You're coming from an older generation. It's not the same now.
