The only problem is that you need to trust the exterminators to put bullets in their head when they're done exterminating. And you know those motherfuckers will probably renege.

No, technology isn't culture. I do interact with modern culture, like here on SaidIt, but that also doesn't make me part of it. I reject modern culture. I am Arkian.

I think you can make a pretty strong case that anyone who "interacts with" culture is a part of that culture. Culture has never been about people being in lockstep with each other and sharing the exact same hobbies, interests, fashions, etc.

Is a farmer who interacts with farm animals a farm animal himself? I am not talking about being in lockstep, I am pretty much the opposite of modern scum.

I don't think the reason we're on the same farm is that you're raising me to eat. I'm pretty sure we're doing exactly the same thing in this field here.
