Ha! - says the asshole who has successfully encouraged users to leave Saidit for the past couple years: https://saidit.net/s/AskSaidIt/comments/bp78/anyone_else_staring_to_notice_the_woke/14hx0?context=3

magnora7 be advised this is not suggesting or incitement to violence it's just a butthurt loser crying out in pretend-pain as he flails trying to strike another user

Something within the proper context.

I wouldn’t mind if some patriot took a club to these fucks: https://www.thecollegefix.com/pittsburgh-public-schools-to-ponder-racism-embedded-in-its-math-curriculum/

Not a suggestion but rather a moral imperative.

[–]iamonlyoneman 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

see, that's an hypothetical discussion and should be just fine here

[–]iamonlyoneman 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (8 children)

so it is, but first you need to have a suggestion or threat, of which this ain't it, chief

[–]cunninglingus[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

No it's not. I was banned for suggesting that Tucker Carlson should be tortured to death. Hence bans are arbitrary.

[–]iamonlyoneman 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

but we like Tucker, so

[–]ActuallyNot 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

No we don't.

[–]iamonlyoneman 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

well you're other, so

[–]ActuallyNot 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Really? That's hardly a credible threat.

I would have thought that in exchange for having to block all the racism, homophobia and anti-science here you would get some kind of free speech.

Who banned you?

[–]cunninglingus[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

d3rr (lately musky-the-nigger) and magnora7, and perhaps AXA discussed it long ago and m7 banned the 'socks' account (1.5+ year ago). Vulptex, before he left, was the last user to ban users for inciting violence, as he thought Cloudflare didn't allow it (but he didn't ban me). Previously there was a note against it on the welcome page, but m7 or someone else removed that note. I think he's more interested in traffic, and he's seen numerous personal threats of violence that - had he banned them - there'd be not much of a Saidit. One reason d3rr deleted his account was because he wanted to uphold a standard of 3 strikes you're out policy against those who merely "forum slided" or regularly made negative comments in forums. m7 disagreed with that kind of ban. My question is somewhat in this general long-term context. The only admin response has been from Zapped, who has seen the entire drama unfold these past 3 years or so. He regularly notes that it's good to have a bit of drama and leaves it at that. Those who generally agree with one another here on Saidit don't tend to vote much or engage much until or unless there is soemthing to argue against. You and I and one or two other users create engagement when we disagree, though few people understand how that has worked for years.

Well that's an affront to the claim that this place supports free speech.

... Also I didn't know Vulptex left:

I was never certain that he wasn't trolling the entire time. Certainly he'd lose his shit at me for minimising the pain of his gender dysphoria if I made the most nuanced implication about how it should be classified, but he never peeped when anyone on the right said outright "gender dysphoria doesn't exist".

It's possible he wasn't faking the outrage, and just didn't want to be put down about it by the transphobic community. But it's possible that he was faking the outrage. It's not impossible he was faking everything.

Yes, and like others on Saidit, it seems that V is just a confused kid, in his early 20s, at college, and at college keeps to himself the strange opinions he shares about bondage, furries, trans options, or his other fantasies on Saidit. I've discussed with him at length my opinion that he speak with a psychiatrist or psychologist about his concerns, and potentially locate others like himself and ask them about their approaches. He doesn't want to (he says). Like others, he's used Saidit as an outlet for what he knows is very strange to most other people. It's so ironic (at a place like Saidit) that it seems to be fake. My guess would be that he and some others have used the small groups at Saidit to discuss their personal problems or interests, while however not bothered in the least about the abuses of and hatred against most people by the Saidit fascists. It seems ironic to me that Saidit has some of the oddest people who are nonetheless very critical of what they consider to be odd people. It's a website of misfits who are critical of misfits. My view is that this is perhaps one result of a divisive political strategy that's converted former centrists into confused fascists who desperately want simple solutions to their problems, while blaming the 'other' for their problems. That said, all of my comments here are oversimiplifications. But that's why I look at Saidit on occasion, to try to understand a complex development.

Can you reupload to midi.moe? files.catbox.moe doesn't work under Tor, and also seems to be blocked in my country.
