Is Saidit a good alternative to Reddit and Discord. I am Permabanned on Reddit. And something Awful happened with me on Discord, so I uninstalled it for a break. But I am feeling the need to engage

Any quality posts are welcome.
On saidit you can see multiple sides of a conflict, unlike reddit.
And different scientific viewpoints, unlike reddit.

Discussions are usually trolls and shills.
So if you can ignore those, or can laugh about them, this is a good place.

Discussions are usually trolls and shills.

This an anti-Saidit comment. The only shills here are the South Asian spammers selling bone conducting earphones. Absolutely no other user here is paid to be here or is here as part of their job. Those who claim this have incredibly inflated notions of themselves (that the only ones disagreeing with them must be paid to do so). Saidit is not profitable for shills, whereas Reddit is FAMOUS for the international shills (don't get me started on that). One of the very few good qualities of Saidit is that it's shill-free (with the exception of spammers). I'd also argue that there is more trolling on Reddit by the kiddos who'd rather do pun jokes than discuss the topics. (I can't believe I have to defend Saidit. I need a shrink.)

So if you can ignore those, or can laugh about them, this is a good place.

You'll learn /u/AngelaMagic who the sincere users are, as there are only 30 or 40 regular users, if that, and most of them aren't normally trolling.

That's exactly what a shill would say. It's proven and common knowlege that governments operate bot farms and pay shills to spout whatever nonsense would seem to confuse and dismay anyone with half a brain.

It's also true and common knowledge that companies put up billboards to advertise their products.

Paying shills to try to influence the political views of Saidit users would be like sticking up a billboard in Antarctica.

Occam's razor - the alternative is that they are people wasting an inordinate amount of time spouting inane drivel to no one who cares. To imagine that someone would be such a pathetic loser that they would do that for free seems way more unrealistic.
