In your lifetime? I guess the competition wasn't really that tough.

I think it's just by comparison the recent president. He takes advice from experts, he has compassion, he spends more time doing the job than watching foxnews (or whatever Trump's executive time meant; working for himself possibly) ... and playing golf.

He's had a hard time in the house, and that will be harder with the GOP in control. But his strengths are negotiating bipartisan support.

He really has failed everything he has done and all his campaign promises were unrealistic pandering to pie-in-the-ski moronic ideas, targeting the mass of low info voters that result from their actions, like buying votes, removing all election security, and blackmailing large IT companies into manipulating the election under threat of reigning in anti-competitive behavior.

Our country may never recover from his first year in office, rather on the continued blunders he makes before being booted out. No matter what, we will never be the same. We will be a weak and corruption laden divided country, like the target European model they have been striving for. China likes this very much.
