People who believe in a coming "collapse" - when do you expect it to happen, and how?

In 2004 I truly believed that peak oil will end everything at latest by 07-08 and took steps to prepare and preached at my friends to take it seriously, the proof is solid and I checked the science and statistics. Haven’t taken any “you’ll see in two years”- doomerism seriously ever since.

This is a big reason why I made the /s/PredictTheFuture sub. I think there are some predictions that have been made over and over without coming true. It would be good for people to see which ones pan out vs which don't.
