Welcome!

We are against the human rights violations and pharmaceutical corruption of psychiatry, as well as its inherently abusive purpose as a tool of social control.

While subjective experiences of suffering (and altered states of consciousness are valid) DSM diagnoses arbitrarily group symptoms and claim biological basis with no evidence, thus asserting emotion is disease and portraying people who are simply different as having diseased minds.

Psychiatric drugs damage to the brain, & patients aren't given enough information to give informed consent to all risks.

Attacks by psychiatrists.

Psychiatry's ability to detain without trial is a human rights violation, and forced drugging, confinement, and restraint are torture. Even the United Nations has said it's torture & said all violent psychiatry should be abolished.

We oppose violence, dehumanizing treatment, & the false "consent" where patients are given a lack of information. This is medical corruption.

Drugs.

Antipsychiatry is about informing people about the real dangers of drugs (and how many of them can't beat placebo) so they can choose.

It's not simply some movement to ban psychiatric drugs.
