Is there any popular site on the net that hasn't degraded into a far-left echo chamber that eliminates all dissent? It's downright dystopian to not even be allowed to civilly disagree. by JohnWhy in LGBDropTheT

I've thought about it, but from what I've seen, IP address isn't something they really put a lot of weight on, because it's so easy for people to change nowadays. They use a variety of techniques, from browser fingerprinting to behavior tracking. Clearing the cache and installing an extension that blocks browser tracking seems to do just fine for now, though.

Even still, I literally just got another account suspended from all of Rerddit for "hate", though they actually linked to my wrongthink this time. My crime was suggesting that people of different races aren't so different and alien from each other that we can't understand and relate to each other (on a post telling white people they can't have an opinion about the Will Smith Oscars thing). It's apparently hatefully racist to suggest that black and white people are both the same kind of human...

No warning... No second chances... Just immediate permanent suspension for a single comment they don't like. I'm wondering if any humans actually review these or if it's an automatic process after someone "reports" a comment.

I'd tell you how, but I don't even know for sure what happened. None of my comments were removed, I had never been banned from any individual subreddits, and I was mostly getting upvotes on my posts. I just know that as soon as I started commenting about trans issues like Lia Thomas and saying things like sexual orientation and gender identity have nothing to do with each other and shouldn't be grouped together, my account was suspended from all of Reddit. Every account I made after was suspended within a few days no matter what or how little I posted until I cleared my cache and cookies.

I can only assume that one (or many) of their admins is really touchy about the issue and can't handle civil disagreement about trans stuff (and especially not from a gay guy), so they made it their personal mission to smack me down. Ever since the Texas and Florida legal issues, the trans activists have seemed especially bad about shutting down any and all dissent.

Or maybe I'm just way off base and it's something else entirely. It just seems super coincidental that it happened as soon as I started posting views that expressed less than 100% acceptance for radical gender ideology.

This is the only information I got from them about it:

"Your account has been permanently suspended for breaking the rules. Your accounts are now permanently suspended due to multiple, repeated violations of Reddit's content policy."

Just a canned automated message, and appeals just led to similar automated messages in the rare chance they responded at all.

Gay people only wanted the right to live their lives in ways that affect absolutely no one else.

Trans people want to start chemical (and potentially surgical) treatments on minors, demand everyone else in the world participate in their identity, and redefine words in ways that twist reality and logical understanding. Anything can be anything if it identifies as such.

If a confused child is mistaken about being gay, no harm no foul. If a confused child is mistaken about being trans, they potentially fuck up their body forever. Gender identity and sexual orientation are not even in the same wheelhouse.

And part of us arguing against the slippery slope was to draw a line in the sand and promise, "this far and no further." All this transgender ideology makes it look like they were right about the slippery slope... And we've all seen the seeds being planted for what's coming next even after the gender issue...

I have noticed that trans people are vastly overrepresented in the online space and seem to take control of all sorts of message boards fairly easily due to somehow having a seemingly unlimited amount of free time... It's like they can't get away with a lot of what they try in the real world, so they bitterly take over the online one.

Yeah. Reddit banned 6 accounts of mine in a row with zero explanation other than a canned message about "repeatedly" violating their "content policy", but it was suspiciously right after I started saying some of the same stuff I said here in a completely civil manner. They also seem to have some type of auto-detection system that gets you after 1 to 3 days. I think I've finally got it fooled after clearing my cache and creating different accounts on every device I use. Reading several of their moderator forums, it seems they use their AI bots to analyze your digital "fingerprint" through typing style, site interaction behavior, locations, and devices... It's creepy as all hell.

They know they don't have the numbers to accomplish anything political on their own, so they continue to use us as a convenient meat shield whether we like it or not.

Meanwhile as long as they insist in the association, I'll feel the need to speak out against them to distance myself from it, because we seem complicit just by existing under the same umbrella.

Masculine Gay & Bi Men Gaslighting Feminine Gay Men to believe they are Trans? by Kai_Decadence in LGBDropTheT

I don't know if this is what you mean, but I feel like some of the "straight" men on apps do this to feel better about going on grindr to hook up with "trans" and "fems". It makes them feel better the more they can convince themselves that the other man is more of a woman, and that's even easier if they can get the other person to believe it/play along too...

Maybe masc gay men do this because there's a stigma that femme gays make us look bad and they're trying to push them out? But I don't know how pushing them toward trans would help, since we're pretty much stuck under the LGBT umbrella in the public view anyway and a lot of the alphabet crowd make us look plenty bad by association anyway... I haven't really noticed gay men doing this, though.

Oh no, it's almost like genitalia is a large component of sexual attraction and orientation! Gay guys aren't into vag and straight guys are. Sorry.

Ever since they started allowing trans people on Grindr they've attracted "straight" men who in turn have attracted more and more actual cis straight women... There's no such thing as a gay-only space anymore. I'm so glad I have a boyfriend now so I don't have to deal with the sea of guys with "girls only" in their profiles or the increase in vagina-having persons or whatever dehumanizing term they prefer to be called nowadays.

It also seems like most of the "straight" guys are just on their because the "trans" crowd is easier to pump and dump than bio women due in part to the trans girls having the horniness and libido of biological men...

All you can do is try to avoid those people, I've found. But fortunately, in the real world that people are not generally as crazy about it as the ones online. Normal people don't care that much. Test the waters a bit and people will show their true colors soon enough. It might be worse in different places, but I've found most gay people I've met in real life versus online to be somewhat reasonable? How they dress and present themselves can be a huge clue about who to avoid, though.

I just wish I knew how to navigate the online space better, because as soon as you so much as say anything even slightly in opposition, you have a whole mob of people jumping on you, calling you a cruel heartless monster, and chomping at the bit to take away your ability to say a single word. They have managed to capture pretty much every major space online, and it baffles me as to how all of these sites are run by seemingly the same type of people.

And unfortunately, the forcing of the T onto the LGB almost forces us to have to confront it head-on lest we seem to tacitly accept their craziness by default. But it also gives us a bit of authority to kind of defuse the craziness with the average joe and normalize the idea that gay people don't necessarily all buy into this stuff. More of us speaking out in sane and civil ways is the only thing that can eventually shift the tides in our favor.

I'm a transphobe because this kind of transactivist ideology is legit terrifying, as is the fact that it's infecting real life and harming children.

Some things deserve to be feared.

Like... If you shouldn't equate penises with men and vaginas with women, then isn't transitioning transphobic and dysphoria a lie? They know full well what a male and female body is supposed to be, which is why they go to such great pains to chemically and surgically rearrange their parts in an attempt to resemble the gender they want to imitate. If a penis can be female and a vagina male, then why do they claim to feel so uncomfortable with having them? Their bodies were apparently already the same gender as their mind because there is no such thing as an exclusively male or female body characteristic.
