Nuclear family is how we operate.

Human beings lived in extended, non-nuclear families for almost all of history. We were always surrounded by uncles, aunts, grandparents, cousins. If you didn't live literally in the same house as them (or cave...) they lived right next door, or around the corner.

The nuclear family is not white supremacy. It is industrialisation. Don't have time for your cousins when you're fighting to stay alive in the rat race.
