Ban reposts

If there is one thing I hate about Reddit (and especially so on Saidit), it's reposts. Can we just ban reposts and possibly the idiots that make them?

Saidit is organized around the philosophy of banning fewer things, not more.

Banning reposts was normal on forums from the phpBB days.

There is no virtue in the assertion that everything must be posted exactly once. Sometimes, things deserve to be posted twice. Sometimes, even more.
