It does feel awkward that people become happy and hug you when you're aware it was chosen arbitrarily. That kind of ruined it for me. I think I'm staying home next year.

I'd like to attend a pagan celtic celebration of the summer solstice with an attending druid once in my life. As long as there isn't a sacrifice. Maybe a goat would be OK.

I did a pub quiz with friends and had fun, but spending time alone has an appeal in its own way and I might opt for that next time. It's about the idea of stepping outside the matrix and to say: let these normies have their conventions, I see them for the illusions that they are. It isn't necessarily bad to be by yourself.
