Under Trump this got 10x worse, with federal support going to charter bible schools (also fascist). And now you're one result of this brainwashing trend over that long period, also attacking education. You're assuming that test scores should have improved if spending went up due to inflation, and you're conflating results of all schools. "Christian", magnet, charter, and private schools have attracted upper middle class students who've been able to afford them, whereas states have generally cut funds for public schools, while fucking up the curricula. Meanwhile a handful of parents in some districts hijack school board meetings to scream about history classes or whatever, because of the Trumptard anti-education movement. All of these treasonous fuckers should be shot, Trump most of all. They're committing class warfare and fascist crimes. Education is the foundation of a strong society, but has been slaughtered by the GOP for 4 decades.
